Becoming Par | In-Season and Off-Season Training

B

I remember earlier this year I mentioned that I was enrolling in personal training with Clance Laylor from Laylor Performance Systems, well, I did, but only briefly in the summer time because it was in the middle of the golf season and I didn’t want to be sore when playing in tournaments. And because of that, I had to stop training in season, which I regret now, because personal training isn’t just something you do, and just give up, it should be a consistent routine to further increase your playing abilities, and general physique.

So in the search for more distance, power and control, I’ve decided to enroll back with some off-season training. Below, you will see the workout sheets that I had to fill out from my summer training and my current off-season training. More will come eventually come (including a before and after). Please note, the exercises below are done with supervision, and the key to building success in training is not about how much weight you can lift, but making sure whatever you are doing, you are doing in perfect form, otherwise, you are just cheating yourself in the long run, just like if you were to cheat in golf scoring.

If you have any questions about the exercises below, feel free to leave a comment below, and I’d be happy to answer anything that I have knowledge about.
